HAVE YOU GOT WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A THREE NINES CHILDREN’S CHARITY TRUSTEE?

Be the voice that safeguards young futures

Three Nines Children’s Charity exists to provide early intervention, reassurance, and practical support for children and families affected by trauma and hardship from incidents the emergency services have attended. We aim to transform moments of crisis in children’s lives into pathways for healing, hope, and resilience.

Three Nines Children’s Charity, a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation, has made significant strides since being founded in 2025. As the charity continues to grow, the Board is now seeking to strengthen its representation from across the ‘blue light’ emergency services community to help develop services and expand our reach.

We are looking to recruit individuals with experience in safeguarding and counselling, including talking therapy professionals to support the development of our emotional support programmes. However, we are equally keen to hear from people with operational, leadership, governance, or strategic experience within the emergency services or those who have worked closely alongside first responders.

If you have senior-level experience within the ‘blue light’ services, or have provided safeguarding, counselling, wellbeing, leadership, or support services connected to the emergency services, and have the passion and drive to support vulnerable children and young people, we would love to hear from you.

Please send:
  • A summary CV clearly outlining your relevant experience
  • A covering letter explaining why you would like to join our Board of charity leaders
📩 Applications should be sent to Ingrid Richardson, HR Consultant at mail@threenines.org.uk
📅 Closing date: 31 May 2026

These voluntary positions offer the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and families affected by trauma. Reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.

Trustees are expected to attend, at a minimum, quarterly Board meetings and an annual strategy session. Meetings are held both face-to-face and via Microsoft Teams.
