Amazon Liverpool Leadership Team Packs 500 Calm & Care Packs for Three Nines Children’s Charity

Three Nines Children’s Charity enjoyed a fantastic morning at Amazon Liverpool last week, where members of the site’s leadership team came together to pack 500 Calm & Care Packs, generously funded by Amazon and organised through The Give Box.

The volunteering event marked another exciting milestone for the charity’s pioneering Emotional First Aid initiative, developed in partnership with Learning Resources UK and BMT Consultancy.

Designed to provide immediate comfort, reassurance and emotional support to children and young people following incidents attended by the emergency services, the Calm & Care Packs contain carefully selected, age-appropriate resources that encourage communication and support emotional wellbeing.

Each pack also includes QR codes connecting children and families directly with Three Nines Children’s Charity, providing a pathway to ongoing trauma-informed support beyond the initial emergency response.

500 Packs, One Fantastic Team Effort

The packing day, coordinated through The Give Box, brought together Amazon Liverpool’s leadership team for a morning of volunteering with a meaningful purpose.

Alongside generously funding all 500 Calm & Care Packs, Amazon provided the time and enthusiasm of its leadership team to help assemble the resources, ready for distribution through the charity’s emergency service network.

The team’s commitment and generosity will play an important role in helping Three Nines extend the reach of its Emotional First Aid initiative, ensuring more children can access practical reassurance and support during difficult and distressing moments.

Anne Campbell Gunn, Founder and CEO of Three Nines Children’s Charity, said:

“What a fantastic morning we had at Amazon Liverpool! We are incredibly grateful to Amazon for not only funding 500 Calm & Care Packs but also bringing together their leadership team to help pack them.

This is a wonderful example of how corporate generosity and volunteering can make a meaningful difference to children and families affected by trauma.

Our sincere thanks also go to The Give Box for organising the event, and to our valued partners, Learning Resources UK and BMT Consultancy, whose collaboration and support have been instrumental in developing the Calm & Care initiative.

Together, we’re helping ensure that children affected by traumatic incidents have access to comfort, reassurance and ongoing support when they need it most.”

Working Together to Make a Difference

The success of the packing day demonstrates what can be achieved when businesses, charities and community organisations work together towards a shared goal.

With the support of Amazon, The Give Box, Learning Resources UK and BMT Consultancy, Three Nines continues to develop its Calm & Care initiative and strengthen the emotional support available to children and families following emergency incidents.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making the day such a success. Your generosity, time and commitment will help us make a real difference.
