Become a Trustee at Three Nines
Are you the special person we’re seeking?
Three Nines is a national charity dedicated to supporting children and young people who have been harmed by crime or are at risk of becoming victims of crime. Our work also extends to families and communities, helping them to recover, rebuild, and thrive.
We are currently looking to appoint two new Trustees to help us grow, evolve, and make a deeper impact
About the Role
As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction and governance of Three Nines. Working alongside a passionate and skilled board, you will ensure the charity meets its objectives, remains compliant, and continues to champion the rights and needs of children and young people affected by crime.
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from individuals across the UK, particularly those with experience in the front-line emergency services and an understanding of the challenges faced by those we support.
We are particularly interested in candidates with skills or experience in any of the following areas:
- Charity governance & compliance
- Supporting children and young people, or lived experience relevant to our mission
- Marketing and fundraising
- Tender writing and contract management
- Safeguarding
- Volunteering and resourcing strategies

Time Commitment
- Approx. 3–6 hours per month
- Meetings are virtual and remote-friendly
- Occasional in-person events or planning sessions
Remuneration
This is a voluntary position, but we will reimburse any reasonable out-of-pocket expenses.
