Three Nines CEO is panellist at London Fire Brigade’s conference on domestic abuse

Three Nines joins the London Fire Brigade’s Phoenix Team for an inspiring day of action and reflection.

Three Nines was honoured to attend the London Fire Brigade’s Conference on Domestic Violence, organised by the Phoenix Team and supported by a range of dedicated charities and partners. The event, led by the LFB Leadership Team, shone a powerful light on the vital role organisations can play in protecting and supporting victim survivors.

The conference showcased the inspirational work the London Fire Brigade is doing to create and embed policies that demonstrate a genuine, ongoing commitment to improving life for those affected by domestic abuse.

Our CEO, Anne Campbell Gunn, was delighted to join the panel discussion, representing the voices of some of the most innocent victims — children and young people. Her contribution highlighted the lasting impact of domestic abuse on young lives, and the importance of trauma-informed approaches across all emergency and frontline services.

Reflecting on the day, Anne said:

It was a privilege to be part of such an important conversation. The London Fire Brigade’s leadership and the work of the Phoenix Team are truly inspirational — they’re not just talking about change, they’re embedding it. Hearing the commitment in the room to improving outcomes for victim survivors was incredibly powerful.”

The day’s programme featured contributions from Commissioner Jonathan Smith, members of the LFB leadership team, and partners including Hestia, White Ribbon, Solace, Galop, and others — each sharing perspectives, experiences, and solutions to drive lasting change.

At Three Nines, we are proud to stand alongside organisations like the London Fire Brigade who are showing true leadership in this space — turning policy into protection, and awareness into action.
