As Christmas Eve arrives, Three Nines Children’s Charity would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported our very first Christmas Wish Box campaign.
This year marked the inaugural launch of the Christmas Wish Box, and thanks to the kindness, generosity, and compassion of our supporters, volunteers, and partners, the response has been truly overwhelming.
Through the campaign, supporters came together to purchase gifts from our Christmas Wish List for children whose lives have been impacted by crime – children and families facing trauma, sudden hardship, and disadvantage through no fault of their own. For many of these families, Christmas can be an especially difficult time.
Because of your support, hundreds of children across the UK will wake up this Christmas knowing they are seen, remembered, and cared for.
A Community Powered by Kindness
The success of the Christmas Wish Box has been driven by an incredible community effort. From individuals choosing to buy a gift, to teams and workplaces supporting together, and volunteers giving their time to wrap, organise, and transport presents – every act of kindness has played a part.
At Three Nines, it was vital that every single child who shared a Christmas wish received a gift, so that each child felt seen and remembered. Every gift on the Wish List was carefully chosen by the child who would receive it, and thanks to the kindness and generosity of our supporters, every wish was fulfilled – bringing joy and hope to children impacted by crime this Christmas.
A Message from Our CEO
Anne Campbell Gunn, CEO of Three Nines Children’s Charity, said:
“This was our first year running the Christmas Wish Box, and we have been completely blown away by the response. Every gift purchased represents far more than a present – it’s a powerful message to a child that they are not forgotten, that someone cares, and that they are not alone.
To everyone who supported the campaign, whether by buying a gift, volunteering your time, or helping us spread the word – thank you. You have helped create moments of joy and reassurance for children who have experienced far too much.”
A Christmas Message from Three Nines
As we head into Christmas Day, we would like to wish all of our supporters, partners, volunteers, and the families we support a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Thank you for standing with us throughout 2025 and for helping us continue our vital work supporting children and families affected by crime. Your support changes lives – not just at Christmas, but all year round.
And as we look ahead, watch out for our next Wish Box initiative launching in 2026.
From all of us at Three Nines, thank you for making this Christmas brighter.
